About Render

My name is Katie and I am the owner and Architectural Designer at Render. I was the kid who loved to build forts and rearrange my room. I was always artsy and have taken up a plethora of crafting/diy hobbies. In high school, I took my first drafting class, then I took another. I was hooked. I studied Interior Design and Construction Management at Ball State University. Throughout my life and career I have had a variety of rolls and responsibilities giving me a unique perspective and approach. 

A rendering is an artistic representation. It is an image with color and shading showing a space, usually used to represent design intent. To render also means to provide a service. Render was created to allow me the freedom to pursue my passion for technical drawing and build on my skills while providing a service. I know it isn’t everyone’s thing but for me, it’s the perfect blend of creativity, problem solving, and technology.
